    Hi –

I keep getting a twitter widget error. I enter my credentials (theme options -> twitter section updates). Same for when I go into the widgets and add Cr. Latest Tweet sidebar widget. When logging into the theme customizer, i get an error page. When checking my PHP log on the server i get:

Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 244318270 bytes)wp-content/themes/sunday/inc/widgets/widget-tweets.php:236 a few seconds ago

    Please advise.

    Thanks –

    Hello, TapClicks!

This error is caused by the lack of memory on your site.
Please, contact your host and ask to increase the memory_limit to 128M. It has to help. If it won’t, please, mail us the WP, FTP access details and the purchase code to [email protected] and we’ll try to help.

    Regards, DFD Support Team

    thanks – will do.

IS removing this widget an option? For my needs I won’t be using the tweet widget anyway.

    thanks!

No, removing twitter won’t help. The error is caused by the memory – Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted…
The wp-content/themes/sunday/inc/widgets/widget-tweets.php is only the file where the memory exceeded and the theme cannot proceed function further.

So, we still recommend you to increase the memory_limit in order to fix it.
Also, as we’ve stated previously, you can mail us the WP, FTP access details and the purchase code and we’ll check your site.

I spoke w/ Pantheon (host) and they said:

Unfortunately, we can’t alter the memory – it’s set as a platform allocation. See if you can check the logs for items on the php-slow.log or pinpoint any long-running database processes in the watchdog (if this is Drupal site).

    do you have any suggestions?
