    Dear dfd Team,

I’m trying to fix the googlemaps problem and have already generated an API but can’t find the menu “custom google api key” to enter it in my theme (Ronneby). Please let me know where to copy it.

    Best, Maike

    Hello Maike!

The Api you can add to Theme Options > General options. Please check this article.

I’m sorry, I know this has been a topic a couple of times and I’ve scanned through many of the threads but I just don’t have the option under Main Settings.

    Hello Maike!

Seems you are using deprecated theme version (you have old styles in admin panel), please check http://prntscr.com/kli7em.
You need to update the theme up to the latest version. Please check this article for more detailed information.

    Best regards,

    Hello Ellen,
I’m really sorry to bother again. I’ve updated the theme according to the link. After uploading the zip file, the site seemed to be working fine. I then uploaded the backup file .json and now I’m back to the faulty map display. What do I have to change in order to not overwrite the API?
    Cheers, Maike

Maike, you need to create API key http://rnbtheme.com/documentation/theme-options/google-map-api-creation and add it to Theme Options > General Options > Custom Google API key.

    Best regards,
    DFD Team
