    Hi Helen,

    Can you tell *me* how to fix *my* site?

    I copy files from a directory -> to a directory. What goes wrong with upload files via FTP? Please explain that.

    here is the first six lines of the .php file the error points to:

    <?php
    if ( ! defined( 'ABSPATH' ) ) { exit; }
    if(!class_exists('Dfd_Border_Param')) {
    	class Dfd_Border_Param extends Dfd_Params_Constructor {
    		function __construct() {
    			add_action( 'admin_enqueue_scripts', array( $this, 'param_scripts' ) );

    Please tell me what to update there to fix this. I’ve downloaded the file/s multiple times from Themeforest and each file looks the same, so something is broken in the core downloadable files?

    Please advise.

    Hello Nick!

    The issue can be fixed by the manual theme update to avoid possible troubles.
    You can rename the old theme version in wp-content/themes/ronneby to “ronneby-old” and drag-n-dropping the newest theme version via FTP.
    Please, kindly wait till all the theme files will be transfered to the site successfully, activate this new theme, update all it’s plugins and check the site.

    Best Regards, DFD Support Team.

    I did this. Didn’t work.

    I: renamed theme folder to ‘ronneby-old’
    I: drag-n-dropped via FileZilla the ‘ronneby’ folder to themes directory
    It transferred 2923 files, no failed transfers.

    I was patient, let that run while I had something else to do.

    The website is still inoperative, same error.

    Please advise.

    Please help.

    I cannot even access my wp-admin backend: http://what-is-normal.info/wp-admin/

    Same error. Dfd_Params_Constructor. I can’t create a user for you because I can’t access the dashboard.

    I can’t give you control to my server outright to fix this. What is wrong with your theme that is has hijacked everything?

    Please help. Please advise.

    tried re-uploading files again, new error:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare hex2rgbUltParallax() (previously declared in /home/nicknormal/what-is-normal.info/wp-content/themes/ronneby/inc/vc_custom/Ultimate_VC_Addons/modules/Dfd_Override_Parallax.php:1543) in /home/nicknormal/what-is-normal.info/wp-content/themes/ronneby/inc/vc_custom/Ultimate_VC_Addons/modules/Ultimate_Parallax.php on line 1861

    I completely removed allllllllllll ronneby files.

    I completely uploaded WordPress files afresh, completely transferred Ronneby files afresh.

    This fixed my access to my own dashboard.

    I’m now anticipating Ronneby to crash/disconnect/error in 5, 4, 3…..

    Hello Nick!

    Thank you for informing us!
    The issue was caused by improper initial way of updating the theme. As we see you’ve rewritten the theme instead of the adding new one. Some files were removed in our latest update to improve the theme functionality and when you’ve rewritten them, such issue occurred. Files paths became tangled and this caused conflicts. So, the reason is in improper way of updating the theme, Nick.

    Best Regards, DFD Support Team.
