Sometimes your site may be loading really slowly. Or slower than you’d like to.
Anyway, its speed may be improved.
Firstly, you have to delete all media files, portfolio items, posts, pages that you’re not using within the site. They are of no importance and just load your server.
Secondly, optimize your images for web and use smaller images (in case it’s not full screen background or so). You really don’t need 1980x1280px image for team member photo – it’ll be scaled any time the page is reloaded and the site will need more time to load.
Thirdly, use caching plugins, like W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache. They really help to increase the site loading speed, as far as the request isn’t sent to the server any time the page is reloaded, but cached copy is used for that. It’s much faster.
